Bloody Mary ( excerpted from Spooky Pennsylvania)

She lived deep in the forest in a tiny cottage and sold herbal remedies for a living. Folks living in the town nearby called her Bloody Mary, and said she was a witch. None dared cross the old crone for fear that their cows would go dry, their food-stores rot away before winter, their children take sick of fever, or any number of terrible things that an angry witch could do to her neighbors.

Then the little girls in the village began to disappear, one by one. No one could find out where they had gone. Grief-stricken families searched the woods, the local buildings, and all the houses and barns, but there was no sign of the missing girls. A few brave souls even went to Bloody Mary's home in the woods to see if the witch had taken the girls, but she denied any knowledge of the disappearances. Still, it was noted that her haggard appearance had changed. She looked younger, more attractive. The neighbors were suspicious, but they could find no proof that the witch had taken their young ones.

Then came the night when the daughter of the miller rose from her bed and walked outside, following an enchanted sound no one else could hear. The miller's wife had a toothache and was sitting up in the kitchen treating the tooth with an herbal remedy when her daughter left the house. She screamed for her husband and followed the girl out of the door. The miller came running in his nightshirt. Together, they tried to restrain the girl, but she kept breaking away from them and heading out of town.

The desperate cries of the miller and his wife woke the neighbors. They came to assist the frantic couple. Suddenly, a sharp-eyed farmer gave a shout and pointed towards a strange light at the edge of the woods. A few townsmen followed him out into the field and saw Bloody Mary standing beside a large oak tree, holding a magic wand that was pointed towards the miller's house. She was glowing with an unearthly light as she set her evil spell upon the miller's daughter.

The townsmen grabbed their guns and their pitchforks and ran toward the witch. When she heard the commotion, Bloody Mary broke off her spell and fled back into the woods. The far-sighted farmer had loaded his gun with silver bullets in case the witch ever came after his daughter. Now he took aim and shot at her. The bullet hit Bloody Mary in the hip and she fell to the ground. The angry townsmen leapt upon her and carried her back into the field, where they built a huge bonfire and burned her at the stake.

As she burned, Bloody Mary screamed a curse at the villagers. If anyone mentioned her name aloud before a mirror, she would send her spirit to revenge herself upon them for her terrible death. When she was dead, the villagers went to the house in the wood and found the unmarked graves of the little girls the evil witch had murdered. She had used their blood to make her young again.

From that day to this, anyone foolish enough to chant Bloody Mary's name three times before a darkened mirror will summon the vengeful spirit of the witch. It is said that she will tear their bodies to pieces and rip their souls from their mutilated bodies. The souls of these unfortunate ones will burn in torment as Bloody Mary once was burned, and they will be trapped forever in the mirror.

THE MEDUSA

The medusa was an ugly creature. Let's have a look at how she came into existance, for she wasn't always that ugly... Again, the Gods played their role.
The Medusa was the daughter of Phorkys and Keto, the children of Gaia (Earth) and Okeanos (Ocean). She was one of the three sisters known as the Gorgons. The other two sisters were Sthenno and Euryale. Medusa was the only mortal out of the three. She was once very beautiful and lived far in the north were the sun didn't visit. Being very curious, she wanted to see the sun, and asked the Goddess Athena for permission to visit the south. Athena refused to allow her to visit. The medusa got angry and dared to say that Athena hadn't given her permission because she was jealous of her beauty. that was it! Athena was angered and punished her by turning her hair into snakes and cursing her by making her so ugly that who ever lookes at her eyes would turn into stone

Locating Medusa in Paris, the Wizard brought her to America and enlisted her in the Frightful Four, a band of criminals he had organized. Medusa went along with the criminal activities of the Frightful Four since she felt grateful to the Wizard for her rescue and had nothing better to do. The Frightful Four battled the Fantastic Four, and all but Medusa were captured. Medusa's public exploits enabled Black Bolt and the other members of the Royal Family, who had been exiled from the Great Refuge by Black Bolt's mad brother Maximus, to locate her. Seeing them again restored her memory, and they were all taken back to the Great Refuge by the Seeker, an agent of Maximus. When Black Bolt regained the throne, Medusa renewed her betrothal to him and served as his royal interpreter. She has remained at his side as his constant companion for most of the time since, seeing the Inhumans through one of their most tumultuous periods in history. Although Medusa has taken various short journeys from the Inhumans' base Attilan without Black Bolt (once where she engaged Spider-Man in battle, another time to thwart the reunion of the Frightful Four), she has only left his side for a period of months twice. The first time she joined the Fantastic Four to take the Invisible Girl's place on the team during her estrangement from her husband. The second time, she was taken captive by the criminal Enclave, who sought to conquer Attilan. Weight: 130 lbs Eyes: Green Hair: Red Strength Level: Medusa possesses the normal strength of a female Inhuman of her age, height, and weight who engages in moderate regular exercise, Due to generations of eugenics, Inhumans are superior to humans in strength, reaction time, stamina, resistance to injury, and speed. Known Superhuman Powers: Medusa possesses a long, thick head of hair, every strand of which has greater tensile strength, modulus of elasticity, and shear resistance than an iron wire of the same thickness (average hair diameter: .045 inches), as well as the psychokinetic ability to animate her hair for a number of feats. Her hair, approximately 6 feet in length while relaxed, can elongate to almost twice its normal length with only about a 25% loss of overall tensile strength. One strand of hair, 2-feet long, can support 6.4 pounds, a list-sized lock of hair can support about 750 pounds and her whole head of hair can lift about 3,200 pounds (1.6 tons). A portion of her hair must be used to anchor the rest at these greater weights, so that more than her scalp/skull is used as a brace. Medusa can control the movement of her hair as if it were countless thin appendages growing from her head. A psionic field permeates her mutagenically altered hair-cells, causing mutual attraction across the gaps between strands. These relatively small forces operate in conjunction to develop larger forces. Through concentration, she can psionically move her hair in any manner imaginable. She can snap the length of it through the air like a whip (the tip of which moves faster than the speed of sound), or rotate it in a fan-like manner. She can bind persons or objects with it as if it were rope or use it to lift objects which weigh more than she could lift with her arms. (Her scalp, skull, and neck do not support the weight of an object that she lifts: it is held aloft by the psionic force coursing through the hair.) Medusa can also perform delicate manipulations with her hair such as lock picking or threading a needle, and such complex acts of coordination as typing or shuffling a deck of cards. Although she has no nerve endings in her hair, she can "feel" sensations on all parts of her hair by a form of mental feedback from her psionic field. Tepatnya tgl 5 agustus 2010...heheheee uda lam sih gladornya tapi baru share skarang :)
Pertama nyampe tempat glador sih ngga kerasa apa", nyampe situ kira" jam 12 siang, trus makan siang.
Abis makan siang kita suru masukin tas" bawaan ke tenda.
Lhaaaaaaaaaaaa kebodohan kita dimulai dari siiiniii,, kita disitu kan dikasi waktu istirahat yang gunanya u/ prepare sesi pertama yaah mandi duluu dll, lhaa kitaa ni pada gatauu kalo disuru siap", jadilaah kita kumpul" di bukit" kecil yang ada rumputnya disana, kita yaa crita",nyanyi",guyon" dll...mlakukaaan hal ga penting sampee nyiapin u/ perfomance waktu acara api unggun yg diadain hari terakiirr...hahahahaaa :DD
Tepatnyaa jam 4 kakak pembinaa tu bunyiin sirine yg tandanya kita harus kumpul u/ mulai sesi pertama, lhaa kita ni bingung,kaget dll soalnya kita smuaa 44 orang nii belon pada mandi, ya udaah akirnya mau ngga mau kita smua ngikuti sesi pertama dengan kumus",lengket" & aroma" sedikit busukk hahahahaaa XDD
akuu kira ni setelah sesi kita dapet istirahat lagi trus rencana nya mau dibuat mandii,  eeehh, ternyata kaga ada waktu istirahat lagi daaaaann sesi pertama tuu selesai jam 7 malem, truus abis sesi kita makan malem, trus lanjut sesi lagii... abis selesaii tu semua sesi, kita semua dikasi waktu u/ prepare buat tiduurr, akit=rnyaa kitaa tidurrrr,, daaaannnn di tengah" mimpii ketemuuuu siwonkuu tercintaaaaa,, tiba" tu kakak" pembina teriak" nyuru kita bangun, di tengah malam yg penuh bintang di langit tuu kita dikumpulin didepan aula, disuruh baris gituu laah...
ngga tauu pertama disuru apa,, daaaannn andaa taaauuuu??? kita disuruh satu" jalan nglewati hutan,pager,rumah dll sendiriiiiiii, aloneee mannnn alone!! gileee", kalo smua lampu dinyalain mah kaga napa" niii malah dimatiin semuaa ngga ada 1 cahaya pun kcuali cahaya bintang hahahahaa :DD
gilaa pokoknya bener" meleek langsungg akuuu :'(

jaaam 4 pagii kakak pembinaa dg suaraanyaaaaaaa yg uindaaah soro ituu teriak" lagii bangunin kita, kita dikumpulin di ruang makan u/ sarapan,, (ngga enak sih makananny burger kaga ada dagingnya, rotinya manis juga --a dpp laa yg penting dikasi makan ;3 ) abis sarapan kita 1 kelompok keciL (3 org) di anter ke rumah penduduk,, nama kegiatan nii tu life in,, jadii ntar kita dititipin di rumah  penduduk dari subuh" gt sampe jam 12 siang. Tar disana kita bantu'' daaan idup kaya mrekaaa (kayaa jika akuu menjadi ajaa --a ) kebetulan aku & kelompokku dititipin sama keluarga yg namanya MISDI.. :3 buu misdiinya tuaa baiik, masakin kita macem", akuu ma jessica masak jugaa tapii waktu dirumah situu aku belajar sesuatuu yaaituuu belajar masak di tungkuu ma blajar masak nasii secara tradisional,, asiik see hheee,, tapi untung aja dirumaa masak ga pake tungkuu bisa ga makan" akuu ;3
abis bantu" dirumah akuu dkk diajak ke kebun tempat kerja bu & pak misdii,, mereka kerja metik'ii cengkeh,, hmmm, cukup susah sih, susahnya mesti teliti milih cengkehnya, yaang lebi susah lagiii nunggu tumbuhnya katanya sih berbuah setaon skalii *gilee =.=a* mereka juga dibayar u/ ngrawat sapi", *si sapi tu kalo diliatin, lama" lucuu loo,jadi keinget harvest moon hihihii :3...*
Seleesai dari kebun kita balik kerumaah, jarak yg ditempuh lumayan jauuh sih tapi ngga kerasa capek soalnya disana dingin & sejuukk, kalo di surabaya mah jalan dikit aja udaaa puaaanaass ;DD
sampe dirumah kita dikasi makan, makanannya biasa banget telur dadar + tempe + kangkung, simpel" gituu rasanya enaak loo hhaa,,
Jam 12 lebih yaa hampir setengah 1 kita dijemput ma kakak pembina,teruuusss sampe di tempat glador kitaa kumpul sama kelompok semulaaa,, kelompokku waktuu ituu samaaa betet,manda,bc,robin,louis,rafael & eko (eko = ketua kelompok dudul..) stelah kumpul kita sekelompok ditugasiin buat yel" waktuu itu yel"q apa yaa --a seingetkuu ada sampe mewek,tuek,matek kita tetep kompak,ckipriit! hahahaha opoo aelaah gatauu ituu yel" hahahaha ;D
